Dress Code on and off the course

Clubhouse Dress Rules

MOBILE PHONES:

  • Must be switched to silent.
  • Please respect others when using your mobile.
  • Telephone conversations are not permitted in the restaurant.


SHIRTS:

  • NO – T-Shirts or Sleeveless. (Women may wear sleeveless.)
  • Shirts designed for the purpose may be worn outside of trousers or shorts.


TROUSERS:

  • NO – Trousers that are frayed or with holes; no combat style trousers; no tracksuit bottoms; no cargo style trousers with baggy pockets.


SHOES:

  • NO – Flip Flops or similar footwear; no spiked golf shoes throughout the clubhouse, please change shoes before entering the clubhouse.


SHORTS:

  • NO – Athletic/beach or combat type shorts or any shorts with large baggy pockets.

  • Shirts designed for the purpose may be worn outside of trousers or shorts.

  • NO – Trousers that are frayed or with holes; no combat style trousers; no tracksuit bottoms; no cargo style trousers with baggy pockets.


SHOES:

  • Recognised GOLF SHOES only.


SHORTS:

  • NO – Athletic/beach or combat type shorts or any shorts with large baggy pockets.


SOCKS:

  • Should be predominately white when wearing shorts.


Enfield Golf Club requires clean, smart attire while on its premises. Persons who in its opinion are inappropriately dressed will not be allowed on the course or served in the clubhouse. The same applies to both women and gentlemen.
